lectures and workshops

Two plenary papers were presented during this congress. One was over the Bulgarian historical medals and the second one about recent Bulgarian medals and artists. Two very good introductions to the medallic art in Bulgaria. 24 lectures followed during 3 days. They were all grouped under main themes such as Teaching medals, Lives making medals, Working collaborately, Subject and Style and Context and Function. One workshop was held at a bronze foundry. Mr Tsvetan Kortishev held a sand casting demonstration.

All the lectures are publised in Médailles Magazine 2014.
